hi there my friend

in order to configure your modem with Ubuntu or any other unix operating system, you have to change some arguments that already sets in the first time, and those parmeters are in a default way !

ok to change those parametrs (inyour case, Internet connection) try to find some ******s, that are used to solve problems like yours.
All what you have to do is try write your own ****** and change the parameters...
its difficult a little bit..but try thats all what you have to do my friend and you will benifit from that....!
