Softimage est un logiciel de conception 3D possédant un passé assez long, en effet celui-ci possède une équipe de plus de 20 ans d'expérience dans la création de logiciels 3D et des outils audio-visuelle.
Le début de Softimage vient des années 80, une époque ou l'image de synthèse 3D était encore à ses balbutiement et ou la puissance des micro ordinateurs n'était pas encore à la porté de tous !

Autodesk Softimage XSI
Softimage est un logiciel de conception 3D possédant un passé assez long, en effet celui-ci possède une équipe de plus de 20 ans d'expérience dans la création de logiciels 3D et des outils audio-visuelle.
Le début de Softimage vient des années 80, une époque ou l'image de synthèse 3D était encore à ses balbutiement et ou la puissance des micro ordinateurs n'était pas encore à la porté de tous !
La première version du logiciel fut Softimage|3D, celui-ci était présent sur les « super » micro ordinateurs destiné à l'imagerie : Sillicon Graphics.
