please help me i have horrible problem with the office word

i have windows vista, and always when i am installing microsoft office,, ALL the icons and all the files which in the computer change to the word file, and for example i want to open internet explorer , it will open word ******** and all the files like this, it will only go if i will uninstall the office, so plzzzzzzzzz help me i am waiting u and thankssss very much

can i know witch office you installed

you well do ( f disk)
because the problem (hard were ) from hard desk IN YOUR pc
and
change version or ( CD ) for win vista & office
test and tell me what happened
