We will be using in this tutorial a Utility made by Apple called "iPhone Configuration Utility" available for Mac OS and Windows.

Download:
Mac: http://support.apple.com/downloads/iPhone_Configuration_Utility_1_1_for_Mac_OS_X
Windows: http://support.apple.com/downloads/iPhone_Configuration_Utility_1_1_for_WindowsThe tutorial made on Mac version of the app and it should be the same on Windows, Let's Start.

After you download and install the app you will get this interface:

Go to Configuration Profiles tab as shown in the picture and insert your Name and ID:

Now go to Passcode tab and click Configure:

Now tick "Allow simple value" and click "Export" or "Share" above:

I chose "Export" and saved my profile as "DXD.mobileconfig"
Now send an email to your self with the profile file attached then go yo your Mail Inbox on your iPhone and open that message you've sent:

Tab the attachment file to open and it will take you to the Profile page:

Now install the profile and don't worry about the message that will appear:

After installing it will ask you about the password that you desire, you can put anything you want:

Confirm > Save > Done, That's it Folks.

Now lock your iPhone and try the new Password Policy
