So you're ready for the big move to 2.2 but just can't figure it out? We're here to help. In our opinion, QuickPwn has been the most effective tool with the fastest turnaround time so far (in the pwnage line) for windows users. Here are some prerequisites such as system requirements and the essential files that you need to complete the QuickPwn process.
This guide was created using a 1st generation iPhone with the sole purpose to update it to 2.0.2 and keep it unlocked.
System Requirements
Windows XP or later (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-xp/)
iTunes 8 (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/)
Needed files
http://rapidshare.com/files/166603905/QuickPwn22.zip
iPhone1,1_2.2_5G77_Restore.ipsw - 2G iPhone 2.2 firmware (http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/iPhone/061-5779.20081120.Pt5yH/iPhone1,1_2.2_5G77_Restore.ipsw)

iPhone1,1_2.1_5F136_Restore.ipsw - 2G iPhone 2.1 firmware (http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/iPhone/061-5202.20080909.gkbEj/iPhone1,1_2.1_5F136_Restore.ipsw)

iPhone1,1_2.0.2_5C1_Restore - 2G iPhone 2.0.2 firmware (http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/iPhone/061-5246.20080818.2V0hO/iPhone1,1_2.0.2_5C1_Restore.ipsw)

Before you start QuickPwn is not designed to upgrade or downgrade your firmware, UPGRADE YOUR IPHONE TO 2.1+ WITH ITUNES.
Download, extract, and run
Just a small note, the guide was written using QuickPwn RC3

After the enormous list of prerequisites have been checked off, we're assuming you already downloaded QuickPwn RC3 and unzipped it. You are now ready to roll if you have a similar directory listing (see below).

Beautiful
http://scc-tds.com/upload/images.php/i196_quickpwngui.png
Looks great, just like PwnageTool (Mac). From here, we're hoping that you select the correct device. I am selecting iPhone on the left side because it is for the 1st generation iPhone, and that's what I have!
http://scc-tds.com/upload/images.php/i197_iphoneselected.png
We get a sweet big check mark telling us that we've selected the 2G iPhone. Now, press the big arrow on the bottom right to move on.
Select Firmware
http://scc-tds.com/upload/images.php/i198_quickpwnselectfw.png
Select browse and find the firmware you want to load. NOTICE at the bottom it states that this version of QuickPwn supports 2.0, 2.0.1, and 2.0.2. I'm pretty sure those are the only three firmwares that you can plug in to QuickPwn (so nothing below 2.0 or betas - but hell, who wants a beta?). I downloaded 2.0.2 from the needed files at the top of this guide and now I am about to select it.
http://scc-tds.com/upload/images.php/i199_select202.png
Firmware is valid
Once you select your desired firmware, QucikPwn needs a few moments to examine the firmware and make sure it's valid. Once it's done, if you're set to go, you'll notice the big green check mark as well as the blue highlighted arrow to move on. So, move on!

Select your options
I would recommend you install both Cydia and Installer.

If you have a 2G iPhone and your phone has already been "Pwned", you do not need to select the unlock option. However, if you have not Pwned before, or did a complete restore on your phone (it should still be unlocked, you can see by looking at the top left corner while your SIM is in during the Activation screen) you will need the bootloader files. I have ran through QuickPwn several times now but it was with phones that have already been unlocked, so I totally forgot to mention it.
The next screen you will be asked for the BL-39 and BL-46 files. Please find the links at the top.
Ready to QuickPwn!
We're almost there, folks. Just a few more precious minutes and you'll be on your way with 2.0.2 using QuickPwn - the fastest available method to jailbreak and unlock your device (firmware 2.0, 2.0.1, 2.0.2).
http://scc-tds.com/upload/images.php/i202_readytopwn.png
Here... we... GO!
http://scc-tds.com/upload/images.php/i203_ready1.png
This is by far the easiest method to date that I've seen to put your phone in to DFU mode. Don't be alarmed - if you follow the instructions you'll be fine and dandy, and your iPhone will be jailbroken and unlocked in just a few moments.
QuickPwn will put your device in restore mode for you within 30 seconds of that screen popping up
Once the "Hold down the Home button for 5 seconds..." text turns black (from gray), hold down the home button.
Once the "Hold down the Home and Power button together for 10 seconds..." turns black (from gray), do not let go of the home button, but press the power button so you are holding them at the same time.
Once the "Release the power button and continue to hold Home for 30 seconds..." turns black (from gray), release the power button (duh!) and wait until it starts doing it's thing.
You should see
This. If you followed all of the instructions, your iPhone should be in a mode called "DFU". This will allow QuickPwn to execute and do it's thing.
http://scc-tds.com/upload/images.php/i204_dfusuccess.png
I tried to take a few screenshots during the process. These are some of the tasks you will see going on during the QuickPwn process.
http://scc-tds.com/upload/images.php/i205_quickpwnstatus.png
Once it's finished - you're finished.
Congrats on pwning your device using QuickPwn.
