القصة:
تبدأ القصة بوصول السايان جوكو إلى كوكب الأرض بعد أن تم إرساله من كوكب البرنس فيجيتا والذي يدعى بكوكب السايان. عندما يصل بطلنا جوكو إلى الأرض يسقط في أحد الأنهار بالصدفة يقابله عجوز كبير في السن يدعى سن جوهان من أهل الأرض، ويُعجب بجوكو كثيراً ويقرر أن يقوم بتربيته. تربى جوكو على يده ووجد صديقاً حميماً له يدعى كيلان. ومن هنا يبدأ مسلسل دراجون بول زد بداية قويه حين أصبح جوكو يافعاً وقوياً يدافع عن أهالي الأرض ويقاتل الأشرار الذين يأتون من كواكب مختلفة.
