يعطيكم العافية يا اخواني اذا ممكن مساعدتي في حل هالسؤالين ولكم جزيل الشكر.

السؤال الأول
Put the verb in brackets in the correct tense, present or past simple, present perfect simple or continuous .

We -------1------- (live ) in our new house for several months. Since we ---------2--------(move) in , we ------3--------(be) very busy. Everyone --------4---------(help) to get the house ready. So far we ---------5-----------(decorate) the living room and the kitchen. Son after we arrived the central heating --------6--------(break) down, so we ------7-----(have) to spend a lot of money to repair it.

We -------8------(like) gardening very much, but we --------9-------(not have) time to do anything to the garden yet. And it --------10--------(rain) very heavily recently, so we’ll just wait till the weather gets better.

السؤال الثاني
Join these pairs of sentences , using the conjunctions in brackets, change one verb into the past perfect.

1. I had a bath , I went to bed . (after)

اختي الكريمة حتى تعرفي الصيغة التي يجب عليك استعمالها
عليك ان تبحثي على key words or time guiades
لأن كل صيغة لها كلمات تشير على الفعل المطلوب استعماله
مثلا key words for simple present tense
always, usually, sometimes, frequently, occassionally, seldom, often, every day, every year, etc

key words for simple past are:
last night, last week, last .....
one week ago,two years ago, five months ago, yesterday, etc...

key words for present perfect are
yet, already, just, since, for

key words for presen perfect progressive
for, since

الفرق بين present perfect and present perfect progressive هو ان present perfect progressive هو فعل كان مستمرا لفترة من الوقت بشكل متواصل اما present perfect فهو فعل استمر لمدة من الوقت او تكرر اكثر من مرة و لكن على شكل متقطع

اما بالنسبة للسؤال الثاني

we usually use the past perfect with the verb that happened first in the past
معنى هذا الكلام انه لو لدينا فعلين حصلا في الماضي يجب ان تستعملي past perfect مع الفعل الذي حصل اولا و تستعملي simple past مع الفعل الذي تلاه


1. i went to bed after I had had a bath
2. When i had read the letter, I threw it away
3. As sson as he had passed his driving test, he bought a car
4. I took the book to the library when i had finished reading it
5. I didn't go to bed until iI had done my homework
6. When I had spent all my money, I went home.
7. I had read the book before I saw the movie
or Before I saw the movie I had read the book
8. She started writing after her children had left home
