السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

اخواني ممكن احد يشرح او يوضح لي هذا الدروس انا عارف انه سهل بس للأسف لا افقه هذي السهوله :(

يعني مثلا ASJECTIVER

as + adjective +as

- as good as
- as bad as
-as beautiful as

و ASVERBS

as + adverb + as

- as well as
-as badly
-as beautifully as

___________________________________

وهذي امثله :-

we use the pabbeln as ......as to compare how two people do or "did" the same for examples .

1- he works as havd as his father did

2- they speak englsh as fluentiy as the teucher poke

3- the dous not work as hald as used to

we use the pattein ....so badly,calefully,etc....that.....

when we want to show the sult of an action for examples

1- ali drove so dangerously that he had thves accidents

2- he droue so badly that he lost his job

adjectives are words that describe nouns
الصفات هي كلمات تصف الأسماء

adjectives can come in front of nouns as in
تأتي الصفة قبل الاسم كما في
I bought some beautiful flowers
beautiful = صفة و هي تصف كلمة flowers

adjectives can follow verb (be). the adjectives describe the subject of the sentence as in
تأتي الصفة بعد الفعل (be) و عندها تصف الصفة فاعل الجملة كما في
the flowers are beautiful
beautiful describes the subject flowers

adjectives can follow a few other verbs. these verbs are called "linking verbs" the adjective here describes the subject of the sentence as in
قد تتبع الصفة بعض الأفعال الأخرى التي تسمى linking verbs و تصف عندها الصفة فاعل الجملة
some of the most common linking verbs are:
look, smell, feel, taste, and sound
هذه الأفعال لا تدل على فعل بل على حالة
look = تبدو و ليس تنظر
smell = لا تعني يشم بل تعطي وصف للرائحة
feel = لا تعني يلمس بل تعطي وصف لملمس الأشياء
taste = لا تعني يتذوق بل تعطي وصف لطعم الأشياء
sound = تعني يبدو

examples:
the flowers looked beautiful
the flowers smelled good
I feel good
chocolate tastes sweet
the book souns interesting

عندما تعرف هذه الأمور أصبح من السهل عليك أن تقوم بالمقارنة باستعمال as + adjective + as
fred is as old as jean
mary is as tall as her brother
a lemon isn't as sweet as an orange

adverbs

adverbs are words that decribe verbs
هي كلمات تصف الأفعال ممكن تعتبرها مثل الحال في اللغة العربية

مثلا:
John drives carefully
He walks slowly

carefully and slowly are adverbs. they describe the verbs drives and walks

most adverbs are formed by adding -ly to an adjective as in
معظم adverbs تكون من خلال اضافة ly على آخر الصفة كما في
careful ==> carefully
easy ===> easily
quick ===> quickly

the adjective form and the adverb form are the same for fast, hard, early, late
fast, hard, early, late تأتي صفة و حال و لا تتغير إلى حال بإضافة ly
examples:

John is a fast driver
fast is an adjective here because it describes the noun john
john drives fast
fast is an adverb here because it describes the verb drives

note: well is the adverb from the word good
اما الحال من الصفة Good هو well و ليس goodly
examples:

linda is a good writer
good is an adjective describing the noun linda
linda writes well
well is an adverb describing the verb writes

making comparisons with adverbs in the form of as + adverb + as

Bob doesn't study as hard as his brother
I didn't finish my work as quickly as Sue
Yoko can speak English as well as Tony

بما ان الموصوف في هذه الجمل هي الأفعال، اصبح عليك استعمال adverbs و ليس adjectives

the pattern as +adverb + as is frequently followed by subject + can/ could or by possible
هذا النموذج as +adverb + as غالبا ما يتبعه فاعل + can/ could او possible
examples: I'm working as fast as I can
I'm working as fast as possible
Alex came as quickly as he could
Alex came as quickly as possible

حتى تعرف متى تستعمل adjective أو adverb بالجملة عليك ان تنظر إلى الكلمة الموصوفة في الجملة
إذا كان الموصوف اسم فهذا يعني انه عليك استعمال adjectives
أما إذا كان الموصوف فعل فعليك استعمال adverbs

Jack is as smart as his brother
as smart as describes the nouns Jack and his brother

he goes to bed as early as Lama
as early as describes the verb goes

Choose the correct answer

He does'nt speak as (loud -loudly) as Mary

Algebra is as (difficult- difficultly) as arithmetic

American coffee is not as (weak- weakly) as Turkish coffee

My new shoes are as (comfortable- comfortably) as my old shoes

he doesn't sleep as (good- well) as Tom

Please come (quick_ quickly)

Pedro is as (good-well) as Maya

Jane speaks English as (fluent- fluently) as Jack

so + adverb + that
يستعمل هذا النموذج للتعبير عن نتيجة الفعل و بما ان الموصوف فعل أصبح من الضروري استعمال ADVERB بين SO و THAT مثلا

he drove so quicKly that he made an accident
أي سرعته في القيادة أدت إلى الحادث

he explains so well that no one needs to ask more questions
أي أن شرح الجيد ادى إلى عدم طرح المزيد من الأسئلة

she was talking so happily that i couldnt tell her about the accident
أي أن سعادتها في الكلام أدت إلى عدم إخبارها عن الحادث
